Sometimes an image captures the right expression and personality, but then it has some confusing elements in the background. Isolating elements, removing distracting elements from the background, extending out-of-focus foliage, simplifying colors, matching blur and grain, filling in feathers in a nearly bare spot on the chest, sharpening selected areas, and tweaking color to create a compelling final image that allowed this parrot to really stand out as the center of attention.
